I believe EOS1N-RS use pelical (sp?) coated mirror that passes partial
light. Of course the EV is adjusted/calculated with Motorola 16-bit
MPU on board. I am afraid that the use of this mirror is patented.
I suspect this was the reason that Nikon F5 project team had to come
up with alternate mirror mechanism design.
