There is a small screw inside the release button hole. It has probably
screwed down too far due to cable release use (cable release can tend to
spin a sit is pushed). Use a #2 screwdriver and turn screw slightly ccw to
back it out. That will raise the screw and allow shutter to fire without
having to push button as far. problem is, if screw is loose, it may just
go out of adjustment again.
