I have done some research for hand grips as well. Since I use a Peak Design
Capture Clip I wanted to use the Peak Design QR plate. That was one restriction
for me. The two I have tried are the PD Clutch hand strap and the SpiderPro
Hand Strap V2. Both on the expensive side.
One of my concerns, using a Sonie, was being able to get to the top custom
buttons (C2 and C1) while using the hand strap. The PD does not have a security
strap and I tend to leave it loose to allow my hand to get to those controls.
It's just OK and does not feel secure. so I back it up with a neck strap.
The most comfortable strap for me is the SpiderPro, which looks nearly
identical to the JJC. It is much more secure and shaped so I can get to the top
controls without loosening the strap. It was on sale one day at BH. The only
minor issue I have with the spider pro is the battery is a bit trickier to
remove and insert, but it allows the use of the PD QR plate.
The JJC strap shape looks identical to the SpiderPro, which is very
comfortable. Both have a strap adapter for the top attachment that helps with
the top controls. So who copied whom? The JJC looks like a good deal to me. I
noticed a comment by one person that it, the JJC Delux, did not work with E-M1
ii. Perhpas they just got the wrong version?
