HHHR looks very good.

Like the original HR, on the E-M5 II, the ORF file is soft. The JPG is not, but, again like before, the sharpening applied is unsophisticated. The Raw file reacts well to Topaz.

Any idea how it handles motion? The star tracking ability and noise reduction
in the MKIII is good but it is very slow to use.
Did they say how long it takes to complete the multiple shots? I don't really
care that much about the faster processing time.

Capture seems very quick. The Ranunculus blossom is @ 1/640, so the absolute minimum for 8 frames is 1/80 sec. That's not enough to stop camera movement at 540 mm eq.. The OIS is on.

It's fast enough that the first couple of times, I tended to wonder if it had done it at all, until the "Processing" message and snake proved me wrong. Processing is also relatively fast.

This would tend to suggest that slow subject movement should not mess things up - much? I haven't tried to test it yet; not sure how.

Another thing to remember is that this is a new sensor, with the sub-pixels. Adobe has a fine seeming converter, but also a history of improving them with time and experience.

What if the Hokey Pokey *IS* what it's all about?
