Have a Mac mini "late 2014" model, it's struggling these days, I'm
awaiting Apple's announcement of new Mac minis in early March or in a
couple of months, to upgrade.
Presumably they'll offer options for M1 Pro or M1 Max chips, the only
real difference with the Max is that it has significantly more GPU
cores. All I read says that Lightroom and add-ons and similar editing
tools don't make either any or much use of extra GPU cores,
But... any opinions or advice? Looking ahead to retirement in one or two
or three years, return to photography rather than just vicarious
participation here, buying for the future as far as photography goes.
