Seems the rumor mill was 92% correct but despite the patent, no astro tracking
mode. :-( Bah, Humbug.

No GPS either, but don't care very much about that.
Curiously the Hand Held High res cuts the number of shots to 8 from 16 in the
E-M1 MKIII and with the faster processor takes 7 sec vs 16. Assuming (a BIG
assumption) that the new sensor
has 2 stops less noise, the HHHR mode would be 1 stop cleaner. Someone should
test that.
Also other weird stuff like the flash sync speed is 1/50th if using non system
flash in focus bracketing--not sure what it is with Oly flash--pertinent for
stacking critters with flash. The shortest delay between flashes was about 1
sec in focus bracketing mode on the MkIII but can be 0 sec on the new guy.
It is almost the same size (W,H,D) OM-1 135 X 92 X 73 vs 134 X 90.9 X
68
Not quite WOW, more like WO, Mike
PS. Still if truly two stops less noise and has Yak eye, AF might be worth a
trade.
