Just got this in my inbox this morning:
----------------
Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT Automatic Aperture Version
is now up for purchase.
Highlight of the lens:
1. Remarkable 110° Angle of View
2. Fast Aperture
3. Extremely Close Focusing Distance: 12cm (from subject to sensor)
4. Super Compact and Lightweight
5. Built-in 46mm Filter Thread
What are the differences between the standard version and the automatic
aperture version?
Find Out More
----------------
However, when you click the "Find Out More" link, it takes you to
https://www.venuslens.net/product/laowa-7-5mm-f2/ , which says: "Please note:
the lens has no electronic connections with the drones/gimbals and therefore,
there is no electronic control of the aperture or focus."
I'm so confused.
I have a LOT of non-electronic legacy glass that I shoot on MFT. It would be
nice to have the 7.5/2 and not have it take up one of my ten non-electronic
lens slots.
