Dry Falls. The course of the Columbia River and Missoula Floods when it
was diverted from its main channel by the Okanogan Lobe of the
Continental Ice. When the ice retreated the recessional cataract was
stopped just a few miles short of establishing a permanent channel down
Grand Coulee.
