I know, it's Christmas. We are supposed to be eating traditional holyday foods.
But I ended up with too many cucumbers, and I like sunomono salad, and haven't
had a good one in a long time.
OTOH, I am out of rice wine vinegar, so not quite authentic. The traditional way to get excess water out of the cukes is
salt, but I found a way using a gallon bag of water to weight them down in a colander.

Salad's made now, and tastes pretty good; should be better after some time in
the fridge.
