Your example is a great composition, Moose.
Thanks!
I apologize for the artifacts.
They don't, or I don't, rate an apology. ;-)
Looks like an intersection between the actual surface textures, noise and
things like sharpening, LCE, etc.
There were some cases where I could never achieve what I wanted, despite slider-banging, and the feeder which served
as a foundation has begun to show some weathering and surface irregularities. As for the acorn cap itself, I may have
moved it to improve the lighting, but it is in its natural state.
Thanks for the kind words.
My eyes are beginning to tire easily, but I'm avoiding most appointments. The last "improved" optical Rx was not
helpful. I envy you your sharp eyesight!
Yes, the visual acuity seems to remain, but I too need new glasses. My Eagle Eye has "improved", meaning it now needs
less correction, but putting it out of balance with the other eye. And I too am not at all anxious to risk Covid
contagion. A recent B&H daily special included KN95 masks for $2 @, 10 for $20.
I ordered some, intending to improve on my existing masks for use in the little boxes where vision and hearing folks
measure us.
