That's a good example of appropriate vignetting. I really like the
falloff of the OM Zuikos (specifically the F2 wides and the 50/1.4) on
the Sony. The falloff on the Canon 6D was not nearly as smooth and
predictable, but on the 7M2 (A7 II), it's quite linear and more
organic. I can use it as an effect, instead of a defect.
At F8, it's all but gone. Wider than F2.8, it's pretty pronounced.
No, I'm not going to get a modified sensor.
