My son has an iPad, and I have checked it out when he comes to visit. I
may venture in that direction, but the iMac and a comfortable chair work
fine for now.

I use a Kobo, Jim, for my reading (I hate the idea of making Bezos any richer),

If you wanted to use an iPad, there are plenty of cases which will act as
stands as well, e.g.

I have the cheap one at no 6, although I’ve also bought a keyboard cover for
occasional use.

Living alone most of the time, I have made good use of our local library for several

allows me to borrow books from the on-line library, but I never expected to use it. Now,
with Social Distancing and most public facilities closed, I find the system to be a real
blessing. I am reading a book each day, using "Libby" on my iMac. I've
considered an iPad, but that has to be held whereas the iMac is self-supporting.
Here is the view, as I read mysteries that were previously unavailable to me.
