That’s one of the reasons I like a bum bag.

Whip that guy around to the front, and you’ve got a clean, dry “shelf” on which 
to work while you’re fiddling with bits of gear. When I’m in the field, my 
lenses never touch the ground.

But they are hideously out-of-style, and I don’t expect to change anyone’s 
mind. :-)
