True. He has a good life here. He is actually getting fat, and weighs about 13
lb now. I have been trying to keep him to three cans of cat food a day. I
realized recently that he was manipulating my son and I into feeding him as
many as 6 a day, the little pig!
He gets meat all the time, too. If I grill chicken or steaks, he gets some. A
couple months ago, I made a photo of him eating a bowl of grilled chicken
breast that I gave him, and posted it on Facebook. In one of the Facebook cat
groups, a young woman commented on the photo: "OMG, that cat eats better than I
do! I can't believe you feed him that." I told her that a few days earlier
Sneaky had Filet Mignon, and she responded: "God damn, Filet Mignon? Are you
fucking kidding me?!?! If I put on cat ears and a tail, will you give ME some?"
I doubt he'll want to go elsewhere. He's been working hard, too. He likes to go
outside, and has been on a killing spree in my yard. He's been bringing me a
steady stream of dead mice, moles, and shrews. He also kills insects all the
time, but he eats those instead of bringing them to me.

Cats are smart. If they are not getting what they want in one home, they go
out and find another. That's your cue to treat him well.

Sneaky, the cat I rescued from neglectful neighbors who were letting him
starve, looking cute outside my house.
