<<<I have one of the close-up lenses you recommended, in a diameter to fit
some of my manual lenses, and it works nicely. I'm not quite ready to add that
complication to my zoom lenses.
Achromatic diopters are a piece of cake on a zoom. Working distance/focusing
range determined by the diopter and mag by the FL of the zoom. Nothing to lose
by trying. Some combos just don't work well a Moose says. The Pentax T132
is magic on the PL 100-400 though does fool the IS some.
