I had the same experience with Connelly. My wife gave me Void Moon for my
birthday years ago. I really enjoyed it and went to the library looking for
more. His Bosch novel "Angels Flight" was available so I started there and
worked my way backwards. I came across Thomas Perry by serendipity. I did
my training at University of Rochester Medical Center and receive their
monthly magazine. At the back of each issue is a compilation of
publications by U of R grads. Perry had just come out with a new novel so I
went looking for early works. Started with "Metzger's Dog" but wanted to
read "Butcher's Boy" before going further.
