There was a recent discussion about filters, but the subject of high elevation
photography was not discussed and I would like to bring it up as I am going to
vacation in Colorado starting the middle of next week.
I always have a polarizing filter in front of my lens. Here are some questions
that come to mind:
1. Does the polarizer have an effect on IR rays?
2. Do I also need to put a dedicated UV filter?
3. Will I be better off if I remove both of them.
4. What should I be aware of when shooting at high altitude, only think I know
of is that the effects of the polarizing filter get more prominent.
Thanks in advance.
Best
Boris
