We watched a documentary on D McCullin last night, an hour-long piece on some
if his current and some old work, connecting the two sometimes. At one point,
in Scarborough a chap approached him about a photo that McCullin had taken of
him decades before playing football on the sand during lunch break. That photo
had become quite well known and the chap recognised McCullin.

During the programme he was using a Mamiya:

a Hasselblad and a digital EOS of some sort. The camera didn’t matter, his eye
for an image was so obvious . . .
