This definitely should be a lesser issue than we are making it out to
be. However, I've been terribly tight on HD space more than once in
the past 20 years. In another month or two, I will be past the
capacity of my 2TB hard drives and will have to get a pair of 4TB
ones. (one working, the other is a backup that I keep offsite). I'm at
1.9TB on them, so it's time.
In other news, I've got most of my image directories synced up to a
server somewhere in the bowels of Texas. It has taken a while to get
the directories mirrored over because I run up against the data caps
with my ISP. Normal non-sync traffic on our connection is about 300GB
a month and my cap hits at 500GB. I've pounded that like three times
now. I have a feeling that I'm about to need the unlimited plan as
hours of ZOOM sessions every day will plow my 500GB into dust.
