<A rare photo, as the other thing Othello and Moose have in common is mutual
antipathy, well, let's just call it standoffishness. There is always blood, at
some point.
<Interesting colors! Looks like this one was shot with daylight WB? Or Auto WB
failed? <http://www.moosemystic.net/Gallery/Others/Usher/Truce.htm>
<But the interesting part is how bright, almost vibrant, the colors of my shirt
are. I wish it were those colors! One of the things that seems to me to have happened
to LLBean over the last several years is a greater conservatism in their fabrics.
This multicolor <plaid was a recent exception that I jumped on, but it is more
muted in person than in this and the outdoor pic in Mike's set.
"O" doesn't hold any grudges. He clearly is comfortable with you. He is not
accustomed to being teased but I can't claim his comportment is perfection
Nor I mine . . . ;-)
nor deny our role in making it such. I have full confidence your will
eventually fall victim to the zen of Othello. Agreed O's sense of humor could
use an upgrade.
The vibrancy seems to be a result of DXO processing the raw files from that
cam. I have noticed that.
Ah, I'll keep that in mind. DxO seems to have the opposite effect on my Oly
files, drabbing them a bit.
The overhead LED's are quite warm at 2500 K and I kept it warm--I did change
the WB but perhaps not enough. I have few excuses in processing results
these days as most errors are conscious and a judgment call.
If intentional, they are artistic judgements, not errors. :-)
It looks very natural with you cooling it off but I think I prefer something a
bit warmer given the nature of the illuminant.
Well, at least I'm not yellow, no jaundice.
Could have been after breakfast in daylight in the alternate rendition.
Not with the light in that direction.
