For MFT, repro ratio is about 1:2. One of the OM 50 mm macro lenses should do
nicely. No need for bellows, just OM =>
MFT adapter, and perhaps a 7 mm tube.
You gonna hold the slide with one hand while shooting with the other?
Sometimes, Jan, you are a bit silly. :-)
I guess you could sit the slide on a light-table,
Oh WOW, I could use the 4x5", daylight balanced light table I use for other
trans illumination macro!
then use a tripod for the macro lens.
Or perhaps the Oly Macrophoto Stand VST-1 & B Adapter & Extension Bar VST-E, that I use with that light source. Far more
convenient than a tripod, so I hope you don't mind. ;-)
Don't underestimate the value of a slide holder with accurate and repeatable
positioning. If you have more than just a few slides, I wouldn't want to deal
with a light-table/tripod solution.
Opinions and options differ. I do have a full Oly bellows set-up with slide copier attachment. I might check that out
with 50/3.5, were I interested (and home). I have used it with 5D and the 80/4 Auto for slide copying.
OTOH, CH swears by a horizontal light source with stops attached to position
the slide.
The reason I'm not much interested in any such solutions is the lack of IR cleaning. With my scanner, I don't spend a
bunch of time spotting. Even KR now scans and cleans pretty well with VueScan and the higher cost scanning software, the
name of which escapes me at the moment.
