Nice work, Moose, but as you may recall, I don't do masking. At 88,
I've got better things to spend my remaining time and energy on. I do
play with the presets, making adjustments.

Although I'm not a big fan of B&W everything, I do like some. Here,
the problem I have is the conversion. In color, the bee is strongly
differentiated from the background by color differences. In your
Silver EFex version, that separation is much diminished. I'm not much
of a fan of such high key renditions, either.
The Silver EFex Neutral setting is much more to my taste, although
still a bit flat and lacking in separation. I don't know anything
about adjusting Silver EFex, but I know the PS B&W tool. If one can
mask, the bee can be separated a little more.
