Just a point on language in French French :
Pâtisseries sell pastries, tarts and cakes i.e. pâtisserie. Occasionally
croissants, rolls, and other viennoisiries.
Boulangeries, aka bakers, bake and sell bread, and often plain viennoiseries.
You can’t be good at making both pâtisserie and boulangerie it is said, and
usually proved true.
REM : Good viennoiseries are hard to find these days whatever the sign on the
shop, Boulangerie, Pâtisserie, or Boulangerie-Pâtisserie ; loss in know how,
cheap ingredients, mechanized processes, etc.
