Sure did, and it was quite a blow. The radar composite showed that it was
the result of a line of storms that stretched for about 60 miles (100km) from
Cave Creek to Casa Grande. There was some wind related damage here and there,
plus a lot of street flooding from the storms proper.
Oddly, we had another one, though smaller yesterday evening. It's
uncommon to have dust storms a day apart. Usually the first one will cool
things down, keeping the storms from developing the next day. And we are told
to expect more of the same this evening.
