The alternative:**North Cascades national park, Washington (30,000 visits) ??? No way! Photo pictured is on the main hwy and surely gets way more than 30k visits. How do they measure this stuff? Still, probably many fewer than the mega parks in the article. The backcountry where the pup and I go get more like hundreds to only a few yearly visits. However seeing two of our favorites recommended in the article isn't a good sign We live 5miles from a Nat'l Pk and have it practically to ourselves any time of year. One of my versions of the photo in the article: <http://www.interisland.net/watershed/mike/CutthroatPass2017/diablo_09-28_0008-0012A.jpg> I imagine the write-ups about other parks are similarly sloppy and incomplete. Agree. click bait M -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
