I met a gentleman this afternoon in downtown Lisbon who was using a "Fujifilm
645" camera.
In size it was midway between a Fujifilm X-Pro 1 and a Mamiya 7 II 6x7 medium
format rangefinder.
His 645 was most certainly a 120 roll film camera because I saw him removing a
roll of 120 film.
The 645's lens looked to be the size of Leica 50 / 1.4 Summilux with a broad
1.5" long lens hood.
Does anyone have one of these cameras and can comment on its performance ?
As Fuji has made a number of models, you might want to confirm Nathan's ID here.

Yes, I have one of those and it is certainly a very capable camera. It is not
much bigger than a 35mm SLR. It is in fact a rangefinder camera, with a
non-interchangeable f4/60mm lens. It does have one annoying quirk: the
viewfinder is vertical, so if you want to shoot a horizontal image, you have to
hold the camera vertically. I find this a bit awkward.
No way around that, if you want the small size. It's the same thing as the Oly Pen half frame cameras (and others). Cut
a horizontal format in half, 6x9 MF or 24x36 35 mm film, and you end up with a vertical format - or a camera that's
taller than wide, and handles completely differently.
IMSO, such cameras are for portrait format folks, not me.
