Yes, and I should have said 53rd anniversary. I remember it well also.
We were living in San Francisco and I staid up all night keeping track of the
tsunami. It took a heavy toll on Crescent City, but by the time it got to the
Golden Gate it was just a large ripple. Caused damage to some watercraft in
Sausalito.
AG will have a nice view of northern lights for years to come. I've only
seen them once while flying over Quebec from Goose Bay.
