Does anyone have a suggestion for unfreezing the Thunderbird email client
program on a desktop machine?
The three or so email addresses I have all load along with their various
folders. The mouse's scrolling wheel scrolls through all the folders but the
mouse pointer is inoperative. The folders and sub-folders are frozen.
I have tried using "ThunderFix" but it is ineffective. I suspect that the
Thunderbird program has been corrupted.
Thunderbird works perfectly on my laptop.
When I go directly to my folder and sub-folder tree using my ISP's web mail
facility the tree functions perfectly on both my desktop and laptop.
By downloading and re-installing the latest version of Thunderbird would there
be any risk of corrupting, damaging or eliminating my existing folder and
sub-folder tree of existing stored email traffic?
Thanks in advance for all and any helpful comments
