It's in aclose running with Tulsa in that regard.
I once would have said close but no cigar, but I'm beginning to think
differently about Tulsa. The big TV preachers in Tulsa don't seem to spend
much time in airport restrooms buying drugs and services from gay
prostitutes, although if they did, I think the Tulsans would be as for
giving as the folks in the Springs.

Have you considered Colorado Springs? Short drive top the Denver airport,
reasonably urban, and weird in some ways, although I suspect some of the
weirdness may have difficulties with you wife. Oh, and it's not always
warm
and sunny.
I lived in the Springs for a while. Absolutely loved it. From a
religious perspective, it's always been where the nutjobs land, but
ever since FOTF moved there, it really went off the rails. It's in a
close running with Tulsa in that regard.
But we do love the entire front range. It's interesting that Castle
Rock, which used to be where the tooth-challenged folks lived, is now
the hot community around there.
We rather like the Littleton/Ken Carl/Highlands Ranch area of Denver.
