Thanks for the replies. I am aware of the BofE options but none are 
practical for us. We'll probably be flying into Glasgow or perhaps 
Aberdeen now that Iceland Air has flights there.  Was hoping that at the 
least we could visit the Bank of Scotland near St Giles...  And assuming 
we could still do this a year from now. (and Scotland isn't using Euros 
by then)  ;)
