And I have a Royal Bank of Scotland £5, two Clydesdale Bank £5, and three
Clydesdale £10 but they aren't in my collection of foreign currency! Nor, for
that matter, is the single Bank of England note I have - £5, but polymer not
paper.
You (Mike) should have no problem changing any paper £5 notes at a bank branch
if they are refused by shops. Polymer £5 notes are valid, of course.
