On the other hand, I “met” my current wife via OkCupid.com in 2013, when we
were in our late 50s.
But we were both “outliers” there and it’s not targeted to any particular
demographic. I did actually pay money to a site targeted towards farmers and
rural folk, but it wasn’t very much — I think $20 a year. But I found the
politics of the ladies there to be as different from mine as a wheelbarrow of
goat manure was to most people on OkCupid.
An e-dating site for seniors seems destined for failure, though. Might work for
the gals, but I think most guys of that age who are “on the prowl” are looking
for younger wimmin.
