Thank you. I hadn't seen any Desert Zinnia in a long time, and I just saw
the one this time. Took me a while to identify it as it was depicted in the
last few pages of a 3-volume set on southwestern wildflowers.
No critters at all, except for the bees and a couple of small lizards.
It's still too cold for the rattlesnakes, and I've never seen any in this area.
In about a month I'll go to an area where I see Gila Monsters and Diamonback
rattlers on a regular basis.
