Thanks, Moose. I guess the first pass found the right subject, and it
took some critique and thought to make a proper image. Lesson to self:
Polish it up the first time! :-)

I like this a lot better. Not only is the background uncluttered and
neutral, the different direction of light illuminated the utensils
from side front, instead of side rear, so tonal detail and color are
better.
I also rather like the reflection of the slotted spatula in the chrome
cake server.
An apparently very simple classic still life, but the lighting and
background make a huge difference.
