It's a relief to know that the malady is something readily diagnosed and
treated with relatively simple means.
I agree with you about the health concerns as we get older. I keep a
quart jar of osha (Ligusticum porteri, aka Bear Root,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligusticum_porteri) handy, and I take a small
amount whenever any symptoms of an infection become apparent. Because of that
and keeping myself healthy, I have not seen a doctor in over 20 years.
