Relative to Chris's comments about it being worthless... I suspect that
it depends at least in part on the quality of your scanner and the
quality of the scanner software. I would certainly try Vuescan. It may
be good enough for the purpose.

Just pickup a Pixma Pro 100 $50 deal and want to use up my Epson paper.
Doesn't seem to be any cross-manufacturer profiles. just 3rd party.
