You comment that your flatbed scanner doesn't do the slide justice.
Since the film is medium format I assume that resolution is not a
problem. That leaves dynamic range as the likely shortcoming. I only
just thought of this so haven't tried it but I wonder if we can use
multiple exposures from the scanner and then combine them using HDR
technology to overcome the dynamic range problem. Has anyone done this?

Looking at a 6x9 slide is quite impressive. I am afraid that my flatbed scanner
