Thanks, Chuck, although the plot thickens. When I booted up this morning
there was no flicker. I checked my e-mails and got busy at work. Laptop had
gone into sleep mode and when I awakened it and opened Firefox, the
flickering started again. I closed Firefox and the Desktop shows no
flickering but the browser does. After a while the flickering stopped.
Tomorrow when I boot up I will use only Chrome and see if it recurs.
Strange.
