Thanks, everyone. Yes, it's a good job with good people, and nice room for
advancement. Benefits are solid.
The commute will be close to an hour, instead of the ten minutes I used to
have, but that's life.
I just read an article about how Illinois universities are about to go
bankrupt because the new governor is an idiot, but fortunately (for me)
those are state universities while U of C is a private institution. I
panicked there for a minute when the one was saying they couldn't meet
payroll in March if things didn't get better....
