Just because we CAN stitch with multiple images doesn't always mean that it is practical or possible. A few years back, there was a publication called "Toronto Wide" or something like that. It featured panoramic pictures, which were all stitched images taken with an Olympus E-20 or something like that. The guy had to develop all sorts of techniques to deal with the limitations of multiple-image stitching with moving subjects. That said, with the latest upgrade to Lightroom/Photoshop CC, is a much improved stitching module. It works amazingly well and addresses a couple of nagging issues that have haunted me. I'm now able to actually do something with those bunches of panos that I shot over the past dozen years.
