So, I decided that buyer's remorse had to be a good thing and I got to
realizing that I selected the wrong bag. All of you with your wonderful
little satchel bags made me feel like a total loser.
But then a little thinking kicked in and I reminded myself of my uses for
bags. This is a professional bag for professional applications. Next month,
when I shoot my first wedding of 2016, I will appreciate having selected
this bag. It is configured for my uses for event shoots. And it is good for
working from the car. Both of these uses require bags that don't fight the
user.
A couple of years ago, I bought a Naneu TS-10 holster sling style bag. It
has proven to be one of the best camera bag purchases I've ever made. It is
large enough to carry a large camera and lens with a couple of small lenses
too. It's the bag I've grabbed about 90% of the time and that probably
won't change. But it is limited. If going for a hike I will choose a
limited kit for that specific hike. I can see myself going for another
satchel bag, but for limited uses where that soup is not too hot nor too
cold. Most of the satchel bags offered only a very little increase in
storage space for camera gear and have become computer bags that carry
cameras.
So, I won't be trading this bag in.
