Now I'm right in the middle of South Carolina oysterland but I don't eat
them raw or cooked. I just don't like 'em. So I just suffer through a
bowl of she-crab soup instead. :-)
Since many of you probably don't know what that is:

Wiki doesn't say so but I think Charlie will agree that she-crab soup is
a Charleston creation.

Yum. They look great, Tina, but I'm afraid to eat them raw any more.
Friend
and colleague almost died from Hepatitis A a few years ago after eating
some lightly cooked oysters, so the raw ones are off my diet.

PESO:
Only for oyster lovers!! A friend gave us a 40 lb. sack of oysters from
Louisiana. We ate them yesterday and today and have enough left for
tomorrow. We started out roasting them in the pizza oven but they
looked
so good we ended up eating them raw.
