That's what I experienced when I first noticed this. A detached retina
would manifest itself as a fixed spot of no vision, but with these fillamentary
floaters they move around and flex as your eyes move. Everywhere I look I'm
reading that they are common and eventually fade away, meaning they dissolve.
I am going to have this looked into, but I am NOT going to go into a panic and
go to the first opthamologist in the Google listing. I instead want to educate
myself about this before seeing any specialist, and I'm strongly inclined to
seeing one with a naturopathic approach.
