Anyone looking for an island retreat? Friend of mine built it.

What does one call that "style", pastiche? Mish-mash? Just ugly? Is it as busy
and choppy inside?
Makes me think of the Crane Estate in Mass., also a summer retreat of a business magnate on a hill over looking the sea,
with large outdoor spaces around it. Not very appealing inside, as the furnishings and decor mostly moved on before it
became a public place. But lots of large, high ceilinged, well proportioned rooms. The one room fully restored when we
visited was quite lovely.
The exterior may not be my favorite style, but it is just one style, that hangs together.

And, as with the article, an aerial view.

More than a measly $25 million, though. :-)
