Isn’t that something! I’d love to hear that accent, and to understand how it
came about. I suppose that it might have been a holdover from the emigration
from Britain or Ireland, but I wonder if there were any other influences.
By the way, Chuck, the real (OK, the original) Taunton is in Somerset, England.
I went to school near there and my son and his family now have a house there
