Slight disagreement here. I think the gate is _the_ thing. It not only
leads into the image, but it _is_ the image. The sky is important, because
the sky imparts the light on the gate. That said, I might try toning the
sky down just a wee bit to keep it from sucking attention away from the
open gate.
But Moose is right about what metal will do for this.
