That's where the artist enters the picture. The artist can look at the
supercooked and know instinctively whether it works. The perseverator
(where I have spent far too much time) wrings his or her hands and attempts
to calculate pros and cons. Usually, the calculation as to workability
happens almost instantaneously upon seeing the result. If you have to stop
and think about it for too long, it probably doesn't work. Too much time =
too much rationalization.
