Hi Chris,
This was the Mystery Ship series of the late 1920s and early 30s. Jimmy
Doolittle raced one, and, as I recall from his photos, he had very
little hair remaining. :-)

The Beechcraft Heritage Museum, located right off of the local airport, has a
number of unique aircraft from the Beechcraft line. This is a replica of the
Travel Air R air racer.
