I don't use mine all that often. But that's been true of the 17-35 on 5D and 10-22 on 60D, as well. I'm not deep down a
SWA guy, but there are some thing I want to shoot that require one. I'm mostly talking about close quarters. Sweeping
landscapes are better with shorter FLs and stitching.
Mostly, I was kvetching about Chris' use of the term Wide Angle to refer to lenses that aren't that on his cameras (or
mine).
The 12-50 is what's usually on the camera or the 14-150 if I don't know what
I'm likely to be facing.
I may not be an SWA guy, but I have become attached to the 24 mm eq. of the 12-50 and it's macro capability. Much as I
like the 14-150 in some ways, I wish it's new version were 12-130, with some sort of useful close focus.
