Good question for the ethics folks to debate. Endlessly. I have no personal
problem with being as misleading as possible to pollsters—especially if I
suspect they are push polling, or representing something or someone I don’t
agree with. Don’t tell anyone, but on occasion I have been friendly and polite
to pollsters and answered all questions completely and truthfully. Maybe I
should have said “as accurately” as possible. I’m not sure truth had anything
to do with it.
